So long as he has his people or canine friends around, Bob is a happy fellow
Bob
Breed: Shepherd mix
Age: 3
Bob is seeking a fellow social butterfly to be his human. If you work from home, are retired, can take your dog to work, or are OK with doggie daycare, this is the dog for you. Bob loves being out in public or having friends over. He also loves all toys, including balls, bones and ropes.
Whether human or dog, Bob is going to want to meet them and be their friend. His best friend, Mala, is a dominant female, and that doesn’t bother him in the least. He happily plays with all dogs, regardless of gender or age. Bob does not discriminate. He is a very patient, tolerant soul.
Bob is potty trained, and will go in a kennel — but he does have separation anxiety and can be destructive if left alone. He really needs to be with people or his dog friends at all times. They make him feel safe and secure. He’s even OK with a cat, though he might bark at them at first.
Bob’s lucky adopter will receive four free training sessions from the Confident Canine KC. Bob is not for everyone. But for the right family, he is perfect.
Oso
Breed: Mixed
Age: 1
Oso is a super smart dog with great energy. He has grown up in the shelter world and is in Wayside Waif’s training program, where he’s learned a lot of commands. He likes to be busy and will need daily exercise with walks. If you are looking for a running partner, Oso would be a great fit for you. He loves to hang out with his humans, either on the trails or during car rides. He is super fun and happy but enjoys nap times, too. Oso is also available for a Slumber Paw-ty. This is an overnight stay of seven to 10 days before finalizing the adoption, to ensure it’s a good fit for the shelter pet and the adoptive family.
