Rico

Breed: Mixed

Age: 4 years

Rico is a handsome guy, with playful puppy energy at Wayside Waifs. His most favorite thing in life? Playing with toys of course. His bouncy spirit will keep a smile on your face. He knows several commands and would happily learn more with the right rewards.

He is definitely a people pup: He enjoys time with humans to talk about life, or binge-watching TV shows. If you’re looking for a dog with a fun-loving and goofy personality, meet Rico today. Rico is available for a Slumber Pawty, a seven to 10 day in-home stay prior to finalizing adoption.

Turmeric

Breed: Domestic shorthair

Age: 1 1/2 hears

Turmeric has the cutest little voice you’ve ever heard. He is a bit shy at first and will need time to acclimate to a new home and family. Once he has time to get comfortable, he is very affectionate and sweet. He enjoys gentle pets and cuddles. He also enjoys watching videos of birds and fish. Treats are his favorite, and he is happy to accept them as a sign of friendship. You can meet Turmeric today at Wayside Waifs.

Cobweb

Breed: Pit terrier mix

Age: Around 6

Looking for a dog to match your energy? Meet Cobweb, a quirky pit terrier mix who’s always ready for cuddle time or a game of fetch. He loves to “talk” when he’s ready for attention and greets you with a happy dance when you come home. Cobweb has worked hard to overcome his separation anxiety and settles down quickly with a little attention or a treat.

This smart guy is fully potty trained, knows which toys are his, and is a pro at free-roaming — no kennel needed. Cobweb has some arthritis in his back leg and hip, but it doesn’t slow him down. He enjoys low to moderate activity, can crawl onto low furniture, and appreciates a little boost to higher spots.

Cobweb gets along with dogs, cats and kids. He currently lives with a 2- and 5-year-old and does best when the household is calm, so slightly older children may be ideal. He would thrive with a homebody who’s happy to spend lots of time cuddling and relaxing.

Cobweb is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. He’s also eligible for our Foster to Adopt Program.

Wayside Waifs is able to welcome visitors without an appointment. To learn about the adoption process and available animals, go here.
