He’s 50% shar pei, 28% mini Aussie, 21% beagle and 100% love-bug. Meet this sweet dog
Charlie
Breed: Shar-pei mix
Age: 4 years old
Charlie is 50% shar pei, 28% mini Aussie and 21% beagle. He is dog, cat and kitten friendly, as well as house- and crate-trained. Charlie would love to sleep in bed at night and spend his days outside or on leisurely walks. He likes his food to be his, so Charlie should be fed away from other pets. We just know there is a house missing their puzzle piece. This sweet, snuggly boy is ready to find his forever family. Charlie is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.
Sully
Breed: Domestic medium hair
Age: 5 years
You may wonder if Sully is truly as magnificent as his photos and the answer is 100% yes. He has the most beautiful coat and will need grooming to look dapper at all times. He is an expert at people-watching and enjoys watching bird videos in his spare time. Do you hate eating alone? Sully is a social eater, too, and would love to dine with you over some good conversation. Sully is a one-of-a-kind cat with a taste for the finer things in life. Meet him today at Wayside Waifs.
Lilibet
Breed: Mixed
Age: 2 years
Although Lilibet is social, she takes a bit of time to work through her shyness. She has great doggy manners with other dogs and likes to make friends. She would do well in a home that has another dog with a similar play style. Lilibet is also available for a Slumber Pawty — a short overnight stay, before finalizing adoption, to make sure it’s a good fit for both of us. Meet Lilibet at Wayside today.
Wayside Waifs is able to welcome visitors without an appointment. To learn about the adoption process and available animals, go here. And sign up for the Mardi Paws – 2025 Fur Ball Gala May 10, where the beads are flying, tails are wagging, and the spirit of New Orleans is alive. The event will include a silent and live auction, drinks and the Paw-rade, where costumed pets and their human companions will strut their stuff in style.
