Luke Perry, Luke Bryan, Luke Combs or even Luke Skywalker: It’s hard to say who Luke is named after, so that’s up for interpretation. He can be shy at first, but he is gaining confidence.

His start in life has been full of uncertainty, so building trust is important to him. However, he has warmed up to shelter life, and we have gotten to see his goofy, fun side. He also has a million-dollar smile. Luke appears house-trained at Wayside, but might need some time to adjust to a routine in the home. He really enjoys playing with dogs that match his energy level, so he hopes you have a dog who would like to meet him.

Due to his timid nature, he’d do best in a home with older children, and he asks to meet all family members before going home, to make sure he vibes with everyone. Are you looking for a future cuddler and couch potato? Come meet Luke today.

Momma Fish

Breed: Domestic shorthair mix/tabby

Age: 1 year old

Aloha! Momma Fish came to Wayside all the way from Hawaii. She’s a former island kitty, but is ready to make her home in the mainland. She is very friendly, and loves to explore in her room — she just got a free upgrade from her kennel.

She also loves to play, and her favorite toy is a wand toy. She loves to chat, and has the best meow. She’d love to tell you all about her day, and she’ll do her best to listen to yours. Most importantly, she enjoys the company of people. She is ready to settle down in the Midwest, and she knows her people are out there somewhere. There’s plenty of fish in the sea, but there is only one Momma Fish. Come meet her soon so she can tell you all about her travels.
