Age: 1 year old

Remi, at Melissa’s Second Chances, has a strong sense of loyalty and quickly forms an affectionate bond. She may sing to you with her beautiful meows, chirps and chatters. Give her ears a scratch, and she’ll roll over for a belly rub. This girl loves playing with her stuffed avocado toy and sitting in the window. She has no issue with cats or dogs.

Anna

Breed: Australian shepherd mix

Age: 6 months old

Anna is wiggly, cuddly, goofy and so much fun. She loves to play and hang out with her dog friends. Despite the challenges she’s faced, she never has a bad day.

You see, Anna is deaf and mostly blind, but she doesn’t let this slow her down. She’s busy learning hand signals, and she’s a normal, happy puppy in most every way. It takes her a little extra time to adapt to new environments, but her foster family lets her go at her own pace. She is mostly housebroken and crate trained already. She enjoys cuddling up to her foster mom. She is so smart and eager to learn. She loves to run and play in the backyard, and games and toys make her feel happy and content.

Greta came to us from a partner transfer in Iowa. While she settles in to life in Missouri, she is waiting for you to come meet her.

She is a pretty quiet girl, so she would like her environment to reflect the same. She might take a little bit to get used to you, but we promise she is worth the wait.
