Pick bunnies, kitty or pup: They’re all guaranteed to add a soft touch to your life
Peppa and Susie
Breed: Rabbits
Age: 1 year old
Peppa and Susie are a bonded pair of velvety soft bunnies. They are an adventurous pair who will not let things like furniture or stairs get in the way of exploring. Their favorite pastime? Zoomies with each other or their foster sibling cats. When not zooming, they prefer to spend the day with their chew toys.
Aurora
Breed: Plott hound mix
Age: 4 years old
Aurora has shiny fur, floppy ears and the gentlest eyes. She’s easy to fall in love with. Aurora is playful and so eager to be part of a family. She appears to be house-trained at the shelter, which makes for an easy transition in the home.
This dog loves to learn. She’s enrolled in a training class at the shelter to learn basic life skills that will help her adjust to life in a home, and her adoption includes a free private training session. True to her breed, she’s an independent gal, but she warms up easily and enjoys cuddles and attention when she’s in the mood.
Aurora is a dream to walk: She’ll stay right by your side and take in the sights and smells. She may seem chill, but she does enjoy a good romp around in a yard. Are you looking for a sweet, kind and loyal girl?
Mickey
Breed: Domestic shorthair tabby mix
Age: 16 years old
Mickey is looking for her perfect retirement home, which would be somewhere she can enjoy the rest of her days as a happy girl. She has enjoyed her young and wild kitten days, so she’s looking for a home on the calm and quiet side.
She can be independent, especially when she’s exploring her surroundings or resting, but she does like pets every now and then. Staff and volunteers at Wayside have noted that Mickey has a lovely chirp, so hopefully you won’t mind her telling you about her adventures from back in the day. She’s a sweet and gentle older gal just waiting to find her forever home. Are you ready to open your heart? Ask for Mickey today.
