Rigatoni

Buongiorno! This is Rigatoni, the Pasta King. If you are looking for the cuddliest man in town, look no further. He is a really sweet boy who has a lot of love to give. He also has the sweetest meow, so you all can have lovely conversations. But don’t worry, Rigatoni’s a great listener, too Have you ever seen a cat play fetch? He loves to play fetch.

Actually, Rigatoni loves to play in general: He’s also known for carrying around his toys to show off what a good job he did playing. He will wait for you to come home from a long day at work, and even bring you some of his toys as a welcome gift. Rigatoni is so ready to be someone’s lap cat. He came in from a partner transfer after they were running out of room - so he is looking to settle down in the Kansas City area. Could that be with you? Amber

Breed: Pit bull terrier mix

Age: 12 years old

This sweet, gentle soul is Amber. Despite her age, she has the spirit of the puppy and does not let her physical limitations slow her down. She is ready to have a great time with whoever comes to meet her. Back in 2011, Amber came to Wayside as a puppy from a partner shelter. She was adopted out and was with her family for almost 12 years. She was then found as a stray, and her microchip led her back to Wayside once again, and in the safe hands of our staff and volunteers.

Amber has had a few adoptions since her return, but for reasons beyond her control, they have not worked out. She needs her lucky break so she can have a comfy spot to enjoy the rest of her days. Just know that she loves toys, but her favorite thing is to be snuggled. Amber has never met a stranger. If you have another dog in the home, she is looking for someone to be a co-exister with her, and one over 20 pounds. She gets to go on lots of field trips, and does great in the car. And she loves children.
