Hermione
Breed: Mixed
Age: 2 years old
Calling all wizards: Hermione is ready to cast a spell on you. It’s a spell of endless cuddles and love, we promise.
She is originally from Tennessee, and a partner transfer asked Wayside for some help. Hermione had puppies with her, so she went to a foster home and learned all about life in a home. Everything was new to her, including hallways and doorways, but she worked hard to overcome her fears. She’s a sensitive soul, so it’s important that her adopters be patient with her and encourage her to go at her own pace. But once you bond, she’s a friend for life.
She loves making people smile with her silly Scooby-Doo vocals and puppy-like antics. She’s also a big fan of stuffies, so she’d love to show off her fun playing skills.
Snickers Teryn Jones Special to The Star
Snickers
Breed: Mixed
Age: 9 months old
Snickers is as sweet and fun as candy. He’s come a long way since coming to Wayside Waifs. His previous owner could no longer care for him. That’s OK, because he is ready to find his peeps now.
He was pretty nervous at first, so he entered one of our training programs at the Canine Behavior Center to learn about confidence and high-arousal control. Snickers has learned so much. He knows “sit” and “touch” now, and he has really improved his loose-leash walking skills. This growing puppy is very proud of his progress.
He still can get a little nervous with new people, but he is ready to get to know you and become your best bud in no time. He also loves to play with other dogs and requests that he join another dog to help him learn what it’s like to live in a home.

Cali
Breed: Boxer/Lab mix
Age: 2 years old
Cali is seriously perfect and great with everyone. We can’t understand why she hasn’t been adopted.
Here is the family dog you have been looking for. Cali adores children and is so gentle with them. She just raised nine puppies and is ready for a life of her own. Cali is well-mannered and loves to snuggle. Squeaky toys make her happy, as do chew.
Cali walks well on leash and loves her walks. She thinks car rides are fun, too. She has excellent manners and gets along well with other dogs (cats are unknown). Cali is both housebroken and crate trained. Cali is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. Her adoption fee is $175. Ready to make her forever your girl?
