Three from area to receive corporate National Merit Scholarships

Three Kansas City area students have won corporate-sponsored National Merit Scholarships.

They are among more than 1,000 high school seniors honored with scholarships financed by corporations, company foundations and other business organizations.

The winners:

▪ Erica R. Chang of Olathe East High School: National Merit Black & Veatch Scholarship

▪ Jackson A. Roberts of Rockhurst High School: National Merit — The PWC Charitable Foundation Scholarship

▪ Regina L. Yan of Shawnee Mission South High School: National Merit Uhlig LLC Scholarship
