Ozone alert issued for Tuesday
An orange ozone alert has been issued for Tuesday.
The Mid-America Regional Council issued the alert, anticipating an unhealthy level of ground ozone, also known as smog.
People are encouraged to carpool or use the bus. Most fares are reduced to 75 cents. The Kansas City Area Transportation Authority’s regional call center has information about the Metro, the JO and the Unified Government Transit system. Call 816-221-0660 or go to http://www.kcata.org/
