Woman killed Sunday when her truck strikes tree in Platte County
A 42-year-old woman was killed Sunday morning when the truck she was driving left the road and struck a tree about one mile north of Hardesty Lane in Platte County.
The Platte County Sheriff’s Office said the crash occurred at 6:30 a.m. on northbound Route P. The woman died at the scene. There were no passengers.
The name of the driver was not immediately released.
