Fire forces family of nine from Kansas City home
A fire swept through a Kansas City house before dawn Friday, forcing a family with seven children into the cold.
Two adults reportedly sustained minor injuries while escaping from the blaze.
The fire was reported shortly after 6 a.m. in the 1200 block of Park Avenue.
When fire crews arrived, they reported seeing smoke and fire coming from the house, according to media reports.
Everyone escaped the house, however the two adults were taken to a hospital for treatment of their injuries, according to media reports.
The extent of their injuries was not available.
