Man dies in mobile-home fire in Lansing

A man was killed in a mobile-home fire in Lansing on Thursday afternoon.

Chief Rick Huhn of Leavenworth County Fire District No. 1 said crews arrived to heavy smoke at 124 N. Main St., Lot 21, about 2:20 p.m. The fire blew out the windows. After gaining control of the blaze, firefighters discovered the man’s body inside. His name was not immediately released.

The cause is under investigation.
