Ambulance crashes on highway in Miami County
An ambulance swerved off of a Miami County highway Tuesday night and overturned in a ditch.
Two crewmen on the Neosho County ambulance and a 58-year-old man who was being transported were taken to a hospital after the wreck, but the extent of their injuries were not known.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported that the wreck occurred just after 8:30 p.m. Tuesday on northbound U.S. 169 just south of 239th Street.
The driver lost control of the vehicle because of the wet road, according to the patrol.
