20-year-old man killed in Miami County wreck
A 20-year-old Paola man was killed Monday in a one-car crash in Miami County.
The Miami County Sheriff’s Office identified the victim as Cooper H. Ventress.
Ventress was driving a 2016 Ford Mustang on 311th Street between Beaver Creek and Pflumm roads when the car left the road, drove into a field and ended up in a creek bed, according to the sheriff’s office.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash is still under investigation.
