Deer crashes through windshield on U.S. 69 in Overland Park
A motorist escaped serious injury Monday morning when a deer crashed through the windshield of her car in Overland Park.
The incident occurred just before 6:30 a.m. Monday on U.S. 69 just north of 119th Street.
The woman told Overland Park police that she was driving south on the highway when the collision occurred.
She reportedly suffered cuts to her face and was taken by ambulance to a hospital for treatment.
