$1 million winning Powerball tickets sold in Raytown and northeast Kansas
You might want to double-check your Powerball tickets for Wednesday night’s drawing if you bought them in Raytown or northeast Kansas.
You could be holding a piece of paper worth $1 million.
Three Missouri Powerball players matched the first five numbers but not the Powerball, winning $1 million. One of the tickets was sold at Spanky’s Sports Bar in Raytown, according to a release from the Missouri Lottery.
Meanwhile, one ticket sold in northeast Kansas won $1 million, according to a release from the Kansas Lottery.
The winning numbers from the drawing are 11-13-25-39-54 with the Powerball of 19. The Power Play is 3.
Another ticket that was sold in southwest Kansas matched four of the five first numbers, plus the Powerball. That winning ticket is worth $10,000.
Meanwhile, 10 tickets sold in Missouri, including several in the Kansas City area, are worth $10,000.
Although no one from either Kansas or Missouri won the big one, people who bought Powerball tickets in Missouri won more than $3.6 million from Thursday night’s drawing.
Kansas Lottery players won nearly $1.3 million.
People are urged to check their tickets closely.
The $564 million Powerball jackpot will be split among winners who bought tickets in North Carolina, Texas and Puerto Rico.
