Wrecks on I-70 in Kansas City, Kan., tie up traffic
Multiple vehicles were involved in several crashes during Thursday morning rush hour in Kansas City, Kan.
Police and firefighters reported at least two separate wreck scenes just before 9 a.m. Thursday on eastbound Interstate 70 between 57th and 78th streets.
Several ambulances were dispatched, and at least one person was taken to a hospital.
Around 12:30 p.m. Thursday, Kansas Turnpike Authority officials said all emergency vehicles and damaged vehicles were gone from the scene.
