Victim of Douglas County ATV crash identified

A man killed in a all-terrain vehicle accident in rural Douglas County, Kan., has been identified as 22-year-old Troy Stanley.

The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said that Stanley, of Vinland in Douglas County, was riding the ATV early Saturday morning in a rural area south of Lawrence when it apparently collided with a deer.

A 19-year-old woman was injured. Stanley died Sunday at a hospital, according to the sheriff’s office.
