KC Road Works: U.S. 40 at Lee’s Summit Road to be constricted for a year

Traffic on U.S. 40 at Lee’s Summit Road will be constricted for a year as crews do intersection improvement work.

The Missouri Department of Transportation said the work will begin Wednesday, weather permitting, and last until Feb. 4, 2016.

Lane closures will affect westbound traffic from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily and eastbound traffic from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily.
