Munday on Monday: Groundhog Day

Rambunctious as the day arrived,

The baby groundhog misbehaved;

So mama groundhog now revived

The threats of punishment she’d saved.

“You’re grounded!” in her pique she snapped

As young’un now she took to task;

The naughty critter cooed and clapped —

What more could any groundhog ask?
