Crash snarls traffic on K-10 in Olathe
An accident involving at least five vehicles snarled traffic for about an hour just northwest of Olathe on Saturday evening.
The Johnson County Sheriff’s Office reported that the accident closed the eastbound lane of Kansas 10 near Corliss Road about 6:15 p.m. Authorities dispatched an ambulance, but no serious injuries were reported, said Sgt. Paul Haynes.
In addition to Johnson County deputies, troopers from the Kansas Highway Patrol and officers from the Lenexa and Olathe police departments were dispatched to control traffic, dispatchers said.
Haynes said about 7:15 p.m. that the vehicles were being towed out and traffic was moving.
