Motorist killed in wreck on Lackman Road in Johnson County
A motorist died in a single-vehicle wreck Thursday on Lackman Road near 164th Street, according to the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office.
The crash occurred about 5:50 p.m. when a Dodge 1500 left the road and hit a telephone pole. The impact flipped the vehicle, which landed on its roof. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
The name of the driver was not immediately released Thursday night. The sheriff’s office continued to investigate the wreck.
