Woman killed, two drivers hurt in three-vehicle wreck in Leawood

A 69-year-old woman was killed and two people were seriously injured in a three-vehicle crash Sunday morning in Leawood, police said.

The crash occurred shortly after 9 a.m. at 119th Street and State Line Road. The woman who was killed was a passenger in a car driven by her husband. They were eastbound on 119th Street crossing State Line Road when they were struck by a southbound pickup truck. Both vehicles then struck a stationary SUV.

Both drivers were taken to a hospital.
