Kansas City’s first heat death reported
The Kansas City Health Department reported the first confirmed heat-related death of the summer on Wednesday.
The victim was a man in his early 60s.
The Jackson County medical examiner’s office also is investigating the death of a man in his late 70s that is suspected to be heat related.
