Police searching for dog that bit Overland Park jogger
Animal control officers were looking for a dog that bit a woman jogging in Overland Park on Wednesday evening.
The attack occurred about 6 p.m. as the woman was running on a trail in the 10500 block of Rosehill Street.
The woman told police the dog approached her and bit her forearm. She sustained minor puncture wounds to her arm.
The dog was described as being medium in size with short brown hair, floppy ears and a straight tail.
The victim told police no one was around when the attack occurred.
Police asked anyone with information about the dog to call the Overland Park Police Department at 913-895-6300.
