Few flights canceled at KCI as Northeast deals with blizzards
The Northeast storm that failed to live up to predictions in some areas had some impact on flights at Kansas City International Airport Tuesday.
As of 8 a.m., eight flights from KCI to Northeast destinations had been canceled.
The cancellations affected Delta, United, Southwest and US Airways flights with destinations to Philadelphia, Newark and Boston.
Meanwhile, there were at least 10 cancellations of flights to KCI that originated in Washington, D.C., New York, Boston, Newark and Philadelphia.
People flying Tuesday are urged to check with their airlines about the status of their flight.
