Independence police identify woman killed in motorcycle crash May 28
A woman killed in an Independence wreck May 28 has been identified as 29-year-old Carol Hiskett of Independence.
Hiskett was on a motorcycle with a man at about 8 p.m. on U.S. 24 at Blue Mills Road. As the motorcycle made a left turn, it was struck by another vehicle. The man on the motorcycle was seriously injured.
On a GoFundMe.com page for Hiskett, her family said she had moved to Missouri from Tucson, Ariz., in May 2015. The page said Hiskett had three children, ages 5, 7 and 9.
