Overland Park dog is rescued from a tight spot
A small dog got itself stuck in an even smaller spot Thursday morning in Overland Park.
No worries though. Police and animal control officers came to the rescue.
Police on Friday tweeted a picture of the dog with its head protruding from a dryer vent opening on the side of a house in the 8000 block of Hemlock Street. No dryer was hooked up to the vent, which allowed the dog access, police said.
Officers helped free the dog, which was not harmed.
