KC Road Works: I-70 at Manchester to be constricted Saturday

Interstate 70 between Interstate 435 and U.S. 40 will be constricted for most of the day Saturday as crews work on the bridge replacement project at Manchester Trafficway.

Two lanes in each direction will be closed at various times between 1 a.m. and 8 p.m.

Workers will be repairing bridge decks, setting girders and installing and removing overhead signs. It is part of the project to replace the bridges over Manchester, the Blue River and a rail yard.
