Bridge worker killed in Kansas City identified

The worker who died after falling from a bridge in Kansas City on Tuesday was identified Thursday as David Craven.

Craven, 53, was working on the bridge at Independence and Cambridge avenues in northeast Kansas City when he fell Tuesday afternoon, according to Kansas City police.

Officials with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration are now investigating to determine how the accident occurred.
