One dead in accident at 41 and Prospect

One person was killed Wednesday night in a one-vehicle accident that brought down live power lines at 41st Street and Prospect Avenue, police said.

The accident occurred about 7:45 p.m. Police said a power pole was broken off by the impact. Kansas City Power & Light crews were summoned.
