Scattered showers move through Kansas City
Scattered rain showers moved through the Kansas City area Saturday evening, but no severe weather was expected, according to the National Weather Service.
The rain moved in from eastern Kansas shortly after 7 p.m. It was possible the rain would continued in some places for several hours.
Stronger storms could arrive in the Kansas City area Monday and later in the week.
