Overland Park police remove explosives from home near Pflumm Road
Overland Park police were removing explosives from a home near 116th Street and Pflumm Road Thursday night.
No evacuations were needed in the area and there was no danger to the public, said Officer Richard Breshears, a spokesman for the Overland Park Police Department.
Police took one person into custody in connection with the incident.
Overland Park police had arrived at the house earlier in the day in the course of an investigation started by information from another law enforcement agency, Breshears said.
No other details were immediately available.
