Woman dies in Northland traffic crash

A woman was killed late Monday in a one-vehicle crash in Kansas City, North.

Kansas City police said the crash occurred just after 11 p.m. Monday at Missouri 9 and U.S. 169. Police said the woman lost control of her car on a curved ramp and veered off the roadway.

The victim, whose name has not been released, was pronounced dead at the scene. Police said she was not wearing a seat belt.
