Kansas City man killed in fight identified

Police on Sunday identified a man killed in a fight near 54th Street and Norton Avenue as Anthony T. Beasley, 46, of Kansas City.

Officers responded to the scene about 7 p.m. Saturday and found a man and a woman struggling with Beasley. He was not breathing when police arrived. He was pronounced dead at a hospital.

The cause of death and circumstances surrounding the struggle were under investigation Sunday, police said. The other people involved in the struggle were detained for further investigation.
