Crash closes northbound I-35/I-29 closed after Bond Bridge

Northbound Interstate 29/35 was temporarily closed Tuesday morning while crews cleaned up debris following a multiple-vehicle crash.

The crash occurred about 7:30 a.m. near Bedford Avenue in North Kansas City.

The closure caused traffic to quickly backup in the northeast loop of Kansas City.

Meanwhile, a stalled vehicle along southbound I-29/35 south of Armour Road caused southbound traffic to back up beyond the I-29/35 split.
