Bicyclist injured when hit by car in Kansas City
A bicyclist was hit by a car and injured Tuesday in Kansas City, according to police.
The incident occurred shortly before 3 p.m. near 49th Street and The Paseo.
According to a police report, the bicyclist was trying to cross The Paseo and was hit broadside by a Mazda.
The bicyclist went onto the hood of the car and into the windshield and was transported to a hospital.
The driver and a passenger of the car were wearing seat belts and were not injured.
