Overland Park woman fatally injured in crash with semitrailer
A 73-year-old Overland Park woman died late Monday after she was fatally injured in a crash with a semitrailer.
Jeanne M. Bressie was injured in the crash that occurred about 7:25 p.m. on the exit ramp from U.S. 400 to U.S. 169, northeast of Independence, Kan.
Bressie, who was driving a 2007 Prius, failed to stop at a stop sign and was struck by the semi, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol.
Bressie was taken to a hospital where she later died.
The driver of the semi, a 48-year-old Tulsa man, was taken to a hospital for treatment of his injuries.
