IN THE NEWS: An octopus named Inky escapes his tank in New Zealand and returns to the ocean.

The world has been stumped by his story,

This octopus earning his glory;

So say what you want about Inky:

He’s vanished, vamoosed — in a blink, he

Went missing — where is he? — a notion:

He’s slipped through a drain to the ocean.

As octopi go, he’s Houdini,

And suddenly gone like a genie.

No trickery needed, no pranks;

He merely is saying, “No tanks!”
