Missing Kansas City woman with dementia found safe

Kansas City police sought help from the public Wednesday night in locating a missing 53-year-old woman who was recently diagnosed with dementia.
Annette Belcher was last seen about 3 p.m. Wednesday leaving the area of 27th Street and Prospect Avenue on foot, police said.
Belcher lives in the 2600 block of Lockridge Avenue. She was described as being about 5-foot-9 and 200 pounds. She was wearing a black and white robe, blue jeans and tan slippers.
Police asked anyone with information about her to call 911.
