Ramp to Broadway Extension in Kansas City, North, will close for a month

A bridge repair project that gets under way April 18 will have a big effect on drivers who use the Broadway Extension as a major commuter route to the Northland.

The ramp from northbound U.S. 169 to northbound Interstate 29 will be closed from April 18 to May 22.

The route is a major commuter route for Northland residents.

During the closure, motorists should allow ample time for the detour via Route 9 to I-635 to I-29. Transportation officials urge drivers to find alternate routes if possible.
