KCK police investigate suspicious death on Quindaro Boulevard

Kansas City, Kan., police investigated a death Wednesday near North Fifth Street and Quindaro Boulevard after a man in his 20s was found fatally injured along the road.

Police believed the man may have been struck by a vehicle. Officers were called to the scene shortly before 7 p.m. on a report of an injury accident, but no vehicle involved was present.

The man suffered injuries to his legs and head, police said. He was taken to a hospital, where he died.

Police did not have a description of a suspect vehicle. Other details were not immediately available.

The investigation continued.
