Munday on Monday: Lumber yard
Lumber yard
The little baby two-by-four
Resided at the lumber store;
A chip that from “old block” was hewn —
A little shaver, not immune
To boredom babies often face,
Yes, even in a lumber place.
So cranky as all babies grow
(Which any parent ought to know)
And roused amid the lumber dust
The little two-by-four now fussed
With words that any mom abhorred;
The baby bellowed: “Ma, I’m board!”
