Lansing teen was killed in Independence crash

Independence police have identified the victim of a fatal crash Sunday night as 18-year-old Alexis Thomas-Page.

Thomas-Page, of Lansing, was a passenger in a vehicle involved in a two-vehicle crash at U.S. 40 and Interstate 70.

Police said one vehicle was turning onto the interstate when it was struck by another vehicle.

Three others were taken to hospitals to be treated for injuries.
