Man found shot to death in Kansas City, Kan.

Kansas City, Kan., police said Saturday morning that they found a black man in his early thirties dead from an apparent gunshot wound.

Officers were called to the 4100 block of Waverly Avenue on reports of a shooting. The man’s identity was not revealed pending positive identification and family notification.

Police urge calls to the TIPS hot line, 816-474-TIPS, from anyone with information about the incident.
