Westbound I-70 ramp to southbound I-435 to close Thursday

A temporary ramp closure on Kansas City’s east side could prove challenging for drivers wanting to head south on Interstate 435 Thursday.

Crews will close the ramp from westbound Interstate 70 to southbound I-435 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday while repairs are made to the ramp.

The Missouri Department of Transportation is urging drivers to be alert, obey warning signs and use caution while driving through work zones.
