Child hurt in KC wreck involving parked construction equipment

Kansas City police are investigating a wreck that critically injured a child Wednesday morning at Bannister and Wornall roads.

The child was taken to a local hospital after the 8 a.m. wreck involving a car that rear-ended parked construction equipment, police said.
