Two KCK police officers in mayor’s security detail suspended
Two Kansas City, Kan., police officers assigned to the mayor’s security detail have been suspended and are under investigation.
Police said they could not comment on the nature of the internal investigation.
A spokeswoman for Mayor Mark Holland also said that he could not comment because the investigation is pending.
The police department said the officers, who were assigned to the “dignitary detail,” were suspended with pay on Saturday.
