The Star nets 4 awards in national features journalism contest
The Kansas City Star staff has won four awards in the 26th annual Society for Features Journalism Excellence in Features Journalism contest.
Competing in the division with a circulation between 90,001 and 199,999, The Star’s winners are: Eric Adler, second place, general feature; Dugan Arnett, third place, general feature; Steve Paul, second place, A&E feature; and Ink magazine, third place, niche product.
The Society for Features Journalism is a national organization that promotes the craft of writing and innovation in lifestyle, arts and entertainment journalism.
